New craft group is off to a new start!
We are pleased to share that our new craft group has gotten off to a great start. The first few sessions were well attended by parent carers, who shared their enjoyment of the group. The group members have been busy creating various crafts, including scrapbooks, frames, and scratch art. It is a lovely, friendly, supportive group that has been sharing ideas of things to create while chatting with each other and forming friendships.
The idea came from our valued volunteers Donna & Hayley when our previous Wednesday morning meet-up needed to change days to a Monday; the volunteers listened to parent carers and came up with the idea to start a "Craft & Chat" group in the lodge at our premises in Rawmarsh.
We are excited to see what the group continues to create and hear about their experiences.
