My best birthday present.

Just sharing a positive story for a change. Great night last night, went out for a meal as a family. For the first time my 15yr old son didn't shout and be generally controlling of the night, wasn't overly disruptive. He calmly asked me if I'd go outside with him because it was too busy in the restaurant. This is amazing for him, he used his limited speech, used great signing, a really long sentence for him and was so calm, all things which are very difficult for him. Of course I didn't mind the pouring rain! Best birthday present ever, even if I did shed a private tear. #when small things are HUGE.
