Rotherham show
Fabulous turn out over the weekend of 9th and 10th September from our Members, volunteers and families despite the weather being very changeable.
Our main aim is to reach families who may not yet have heard of us, to reduce isolation and offer hope. We also had the opportunity to network with other organisations , creating new and strengthening existing partnerships.
Alongside this, we are fundraising for our charity and our focus is our new offices, enabling us to create a space where strategically and operationally we can work towards better outcomes for families living with additional needs.
The generosity of volunteers and families in preparation for and over this weekend has been inspiring, giving time, skills, donations to stalls, support to each other and new families. Our young volunteers have been exceptional, throwing themselves into the event and giving of themselves so generousy, despite some cost to some of them. Hopefully , you can read some of their stories in the coming weeks.
We were also able to reach many people through our Genuine Partnerships / Rotherham Charter team who have been spreading the news and impact on real partnership working in Rotherham and beyond.
So very proud to be part of this team.
