Open Day Opportunity to Visit Austerfield Study Centre

Rotherham Parent Carers Forum are pleased to offer families an opportunity to visit and familiarise themselves with the Austerfield Study Centre in Doncaster which we will be using for our overnight SEND family camping trips in 2024.

We know that families and young people can often be unsure about trying new things in unknown places so have organised this free open day to enable families to explore the surroundings and alleviate these anxieties.

This will be an informal opportunity to look round the accommodation on offer, the centre and its surroundings and familiarise yourselves before you decide if you would like to book onto our 2024 Family Camping trips. There is no obligation to book the camping trips and everyone is welcome to come and just look round.

You are able to drop in any time on Sunday 12th November 2023 between 12pm and 3pm and spend as long as you like looking round.

Our Staff will be available to welcome you and show you round. Please book your free places so we know to expect you.

The dates for the camping trips in 2024 are;

24th May - 26th May 2024

16th Aug - 18th Aug 2024

Families will be able to book for one or two nights. Although these are not yet bookable, you will be able to add your name to the interested list at the Open Day and you may want to save the dates in your calendars.
