Your Voice Matters – Share Your Experience of the EHC Process
26th February 2025
We believe parent carers are equal partners in shaping services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Your lived experience is crucial in identifying what works well and where improvements are needed.
In our most recent parent survey, the Education, Health, and Care (EHC) process was identified as the top priority for families. To ensure we accurately represent your views, we are launching a deep-dive survey to capture your current experiences with the EHC process and service.
We want to hear directly from you:
- What is working well in the EHC process?
- What challenges are you facing?
- What changes would make the biggest difference?
The feedback gathered will be collated into key themes and shared with relevant service leads and decision-makers to drive meaningful improvements.
If you have more than one child at different stages of the EHC process—whether considering an assessment, undergoing one, or already having an EHCP—you are welcome to complete the survey separately for each child.
Your responses are completely anonymous and will be handled in line with our data protection policies. You can read our full privacy notice here: https://www.rpcf.co.uk/privacy-notice.
By taking part, you are helping to make a real difference for families in Rotherham. Your voice matters—let’s shape the future together.
