Webinar on Sensory Circuits for SATS

On Wednesday 3rd May, Virtual School Rotherham will host a webinar on Sensory Circuits for SATS. The webinar is aimed at parents and carers of primary aged children and will explore creating Sensory Circuits at home and how to use sensory strategies to support your child through their SATS exams.
Sensory circuits are short, structured, sensory-based movement routines which help children to self-regulate and promote a calm and alert state. Sensory circuits are ideal way to energise a child or settle a child ready to learn and engage with the school day. Trials of Sensory Circuits for Y6 classes during SATS week have proven successful in supporting children to feel calm and focused with the exams ahead, they also support to ease anxiety and support with emotional regulation.
Join Sadie on this webinar to learn about the benefits of sensory circuits, why the work and how they help children with their behaviour and concentration at school. We will also explore how to create sensory circuits within the home setting so you can prepare them to feel settled and engaged for their school day ahead.
