The Rotherham 0 – 5 SLCN Strategic Group
8th September 2022
The Rotherham 0 – 5 SLCN Strategic Group want to capture the view of parents on the support they have received in relation to Speech, Language and Communication needs of their children.
We are aware that the first years of life are vital in giving every child the best start, with speech, language and communication (SLC) skills and an important indicator of child wellbeing. These skills shape a child’s ability to learn, develop friendships and their future life chances.
The Rotherham 0 to 5 SLCN Strategic Group have reviewed the level of knowledge and understanding of professionals to help identify and support speech, language and communication needs within the children’s workforce as well as considering the support pathways that are in place. To help inform this work going forward we are keen to capture the views of parents on their experiences when they have had a child with speech, language and communication needs.
This short survey will not take longer than 10 minutes of your time and has been designed for ease of completion with many questions requiring yes/no answers. All response will be anonymised. To complete the survey CLICK HERE
