SEND Green Paper Consultation
1st July 2022
Your views are vital to help us achieve our ambition of improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND and those in Alternative Provision. By working together, we can support every child and young person to thrive and be well prepared for adult life.
Less than 4 weeks until the consultation closes
With the consultation closing on Friday 22 July, now is the time to reflect on the proposals and share your response before it’s too late.
Resources are available to help you understand the proposals on sendreview.campaign.gov.uk including:
- an in-depth conversation with Will Quince MP, Minister for Children and Families, about what the proposals mean in practice, including plans for mandatory mediation, school SEND budgets and teacher training for SEND
- a parent-led question and answer session with Minister Quince covering behaviour, accountability and Education, Health, and Care (EHC) needs assessments
Many thanks for taking the time to consider your response to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Alternative Provision (AP) green paper consultation.
