The online consultation for the name for the new Dinnington SEMH School is now live. Can you please circulate the information below, which includes the link to the online consultation, to children and young people, parents and carers, colleagues and any other key stakeholders:
Name our new school!
We’re now just a few months away from the opening of Rotherham’s brand-new school for children with social, emotional and mental health needs, to be based at Dinnington Campus.
We have a great location, some excellent facilities nearing completion and an extremely well regarded organisation in Ethos Academy Trust (EAT) to run the school… now all we need is a name for it!
We have been working with staff, stakeholders and some of the children and young people who will be attending the new school to create a shortlist of potential names for you to pick your favourite from. The names under consideration are:

Sunrise Academy
Let us know your preference by voting for your favourite HERE Friday 1st April. Once all the votes are counted and verified, EAT will officially announce the name on Friday 8th April.
Building work at Dinnington Campus is continuing on schedule and we look forward to welcoming students, parents and staff to our fantastic new school.
