Free Training for Parents, Families and Informal Carers

Edge Training is offering free online courses designed specifically for families and informal carers. Upcoming sessions include:
Care Act for Families and Informal Carers: A 3-hour session providing an overview of the Care Act 2014, the primary legislation underpinning care and support for adults.
Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) for Families and Informal Carers: This course focuses on the DoLS framework for individuals in care homes, covering the purpose of DoLS, rights of individuals under DoLS, and the role of the Relevant Person's Representative.
Mental Health Act for Families: An overview of the Mental Health Act, detailing the rights of individuals and guidance for families supporting loved ones under this legislation.
