Approved report by RMBC Cabinet with Regards to Newman Specialist School

A report was approved by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council Cabinet on 18th October 2021 to commence a period of pre statutory consultation on proposals to make prescribed alterations (under the School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013), to Newman School, East Bawtry Rd, Whiston, Rotherham S60 3LX.
Following the recent acquisition of the former Dinnington college Site (which is being used as an annex to Newman School for upper school and 6th form pupils), to meet demand for places and while renovations are progressing at the main school site. A capacity assessment indicates there is sufficient space across the Newman main school and Dinnington Annex for 180 pupils. For more information please follow this Link
