8th September 2022 - A Day in the life of session at Speak Up Office
Are you a young person with SEND thinking about moving into the world of work ? If so then come along to this session to listen to the lived experiences of individuals who have done just that. They will share their journeys and talk about how they have overcome some of their challenges. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, meet other people and a light tea will also be provided for those attending in person. There is also the opportunity to access this session virtually from home if you have access to Zoom.

14th, 21st and 28th September 2022 - Street Doctors at New York Stadium
Street Doctors changes lives by giving young people the skills and confidence to deliver lifesaving first aid. We are delivering a bespoke session for children and young people with SEND in September, alongside their parents and carers. All young people will receive a certificate at the end of the course (they must attend all three sessions).

10th October 2022
Are you interested in a career in the NHS ? Then this session is for you if you are aged 14-25 and thinking about next steps after school or college.
This workshop will explore all the different types of a careers that are available in Health and Social Care. There are more than 350 careers available in the NHS, many of them in non-clinical support roles like IT, Business Admin and Estates management. The workshop will help young people understand the different careers on offer.
The workshop will also cover current roles available within the sector and how to apply for vacancies. We will also be exploring what training programmes are on offer locally. A local training provider will be on hand to run through what programmes are available and how to sign up.
